GearFest is a music and community festival born in 2022 within VRChat, created to unite people, communities, and creators through fun and collaboration. Its mission is to demonstrate the power of virtual reality as a space to connect, share experiences, and support good causes, combining music, live events, and fundraising. With a clear vision of collective growth, GearFest promotes the “for the community, by the community” spirit, fostering networking, creative development, and social awareness, while offering memorable experiences that showcase how incredible VRChat can be when experienced together.

This year, the festival supports Doctors Without Borders, an organization dedicated to providing emergency medical care to those most in need around the world. Through live performances and collaborative experiences in VRChat, GearFest aims to raise awareness and generate real impact, demonstrating that having fun can also help save lives. Donations will be made through Tiltifly, and attendees can easily contribute by scanning the QR code below the page, joining a global cause through virtual reality.
All donations made during GearFest 2026 go directly to Doctors Without Borders, an international medical humanitarian organization that provides emergency care to people affected by armed conflict, natural disasters, epidemics, and humanitarian crises, regardless of borders, politics, or religion. The funds help finance medical services, medicines, equipment, healthcare personnel, and rapid response in areas where access to healthcare is limited or nonexistent.
